Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor set to change real estate dynamics along the corridor

With the opening of the Delhi-Meerut Expressway and the introduction of the RRTS between the two cities via Ghaziabad, real estate along the corridor is booming in Ghaziabad, Modi Nagar, Muradnagar, Duhai, and several other localities in Meerut.
According to real estate specialists, prices for homes in these locations have climbed by 35 to 40% during the past two years.
The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is building India's first semi-high-speed rail-based transit network, the 82-km Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS route. There will be two depot stations among the 25 stations along this track.

The RRTS corridor will begin in Delhi at Sarai Kale Khan and travel through Anand Vihar, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Duhai, Muradnagar, Modi Nagar, and Meerut in Uttar Pradesh.

He cited the 16 HIG flats in Sector-99. They occupy an area of 153.57 square metres. They are priced between Rs. 1.39 crore and Rs. 1.74 crore.

He also mentioned the three duplexes built in Sector-135 as being a part of the proposal. To make this, 180 square metres are needed. Their price is 1.79 crore.

The study also states that electronic bidding will be used to distribute all flat types—excluding LIG.

Greater Noida Authority permits registration of over 2,200 flats in three housing societies

Homebuyers will profit from the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority's (GNIDA) decision to approve the registration of more than 2,200 flats constructed by three separate builders in sectors 1 and 16 of Greater Noida.

The registry of these apartments has reportedly been approved after the builders completed their required payment to the Authority, according to GNIDA officials.

According to GNIDA CEO Ritu Maheshwari's instructions, the registration of 2215 apartments from three builders has been approved. These developers paid the authority after which the action was taken. The payments paid do not fall within the authority's recently implemented rescheduling policy, an official said.

However, the Authority withheld information on the sum that was recovered from these developers.

Noida Authority to inspect three sectors for illegal constructions

This month, according to officials, the Noida Authority will inspect homes and apartments in three districts for illegal construction. If violators do not remove any illegal structures after being served with notices, they will be razed.

Residents of these areas complained about some homes and apartments having illegal constructions, leading to the current action.

The Authority will find any infractions of building ordinances and town planning regulations during the survey and send notices to all offenders. According to Vijay Rawal, project engineer for the Noida Authority, the drive would begin soon and be finished by the end of this month.
